I grew up in the farm country of southern Colorado, where wide horizons and long days taught me the value of hard work and instilled a love for the freedom of windy high spaces. Skiing quickly became my passion, first close to home at Wolf Creek Ski Area, and then leading me into ski patrolling, avalanche work, and mountain guiding. These experiences have deepened my respect for both the power of the mountains and the importance of looking out for one another. Skiing also became my passport to the world, taking me across ranges near and far, always learning from new terrain and new communities. Earning my AMGA Ski Guide certification is a milestone I’m proud of, and I’m so grateful for the mentors, teammates, and four legged friends who supported me on the journey. Today, as a guide service owner, I feel fortunate not only to be able to make turns in incredible places, but also to welcome others into the experience, sharing the joy, grace, and perspective that only time in the mountains can give.
